With this blog I am going to try to mix up the content between entertainment, making money, and staying out of debt. Why focus on just one topic when these three topics create good reading for those interested.

Over the course of the next few weeks, I am going to take a look at debt and and solutions to get out of debt. Unfortunately, the bottom fell out of the market and houses started to fall in value. Before long investors owed more on their homes than they were worth. To make matters worse, low ARMs started to reset and balloon mortgages started to come due. Many were unable to make ends meet and foreclosures started spreading across the nation. With the right steps you can see a dramatic improvement in as little as four weeks.

America is facing a financial crisis. Millions of people are carrying to much debt. The average family owes upwards of $9,900 just on credit cards. That's not even counting mortgages, car loans and student loans. Not since the great depression, as a nation we have spent more that we earned for two consecutive years. As a country, our household debt is at a whopping 19 percent.

The first step is figuring out if you have a debt problem. You most likely do, if you are reading this.

It has been reported by People that the New Kids on the Block are set to reunite after 20 years since being the most famous boy band of their time. They expect to make this announcement this Friday on the Todat Show. How lucky are we that we get to see 5 middle aged men try to relive their glory days . Holy crap this is not necessary but totally entertaining at the same time.

When local businesses set to do SEO for local markets, many of them invariably ignore the need to think rationally because they are advised by SEO experts to target the big three search engine users and sometimes get confused and tackle this feat on a global level resulting in global traffic. The direct fall out of this step is exposing your business offers, products or services to the world at large only to dilute all other local online SEO efforts. If your product is not global you are in trouble.

So here is the stumbling block number one.

1. Not using localized target keywords, however good they are, will leave your new websites way down the SERP's locally. Actual localized keywords you should be targeting in which will bring you a steady stream of natural traffic.

The second block where you might probably stumble, especially if you are new to web and optimization is wrongfully assuming internet marketing techniques as something radically different and for removed from the earthly- worldly affairs that we all do by trial and errors over and again. The crux of the matter here is SEO for local markets is only a small part of larger marketing exercises, with certain twists, to get exposure with local locations.

Here is the second stumbling point in SEO for local markets.

2. SEO for local markets is not a marketing technique but a sophisticated local technique of optimizing websites on a local basis. Obviously, the one who knows the pulse of the market is not the SEO expert but can contribute his knowledge to SEO expert.

Let me dash you through steps involved in SEO for local markets in short.

1. Localize your target keywords. This includes prefixing or suffixing local terms, names, and names of areas, cities or zip codes with target keywords. Example: "remodeling contractors Orange County", not "remodeling contractors".

2. Submit to local search engines (find one, if you don't know already), directories and web based yellow pages.

3. Display your mailing address with street address, zip code and complete. Once your site is indexed, these words gain prominence as a part of content.

4. Submit to local listing sections of Yahoo and DMOZ which is in addition to generalized listing.

5. Don't leave out general SEO techniques because you want to SEO for local markets which the power of link building which can be done globally as there might not be enough local sites to beat you competition.

6. Get on the local maps of Google, Yahoo, as this generally puts you on front of the local search engines.

7. Exchange links and banners with local businesses as the local traffic exchange will bring you new business. Avoid changing banners or links with competitors but exchange them with businesses that will complement you. Verify their traffic so it's an almost even exchange.

Dominating local SEO can be done fairly easily, you just have to either hire a professional with a proven track record or take time to learn local SEO. The main concern is to be patient as it takes at least 3 months to start seeing results.

What the Coens have achieved is an atmosphere that is completely unique; they have put us in a world that is completely their own. We have no way of predicting what will happen next or how the movie will end because we have never set foot in a world quite like this one. Technically, there is not a single misstep or error. Every composition and camera movement is accomplished with such purpose and precision. There is something tranquil and calming about the way they shoot the barren landscapes, terrifying and tense about the dark hotels and pooling blood. The editing is pristine, and its role extends past mere function into thematics. In the Coens' refusal to show certain events we consider essential, we realize the true essence of the movie. The acting by Josh Brolin and Javier Bardem is spot-on, but Tommy Lee Jones's portrayal of Ed Tom Bell is absolutely spellbinding. He quite literally becomes his character, emanating his very being without needing to speak a single line. A shift in his weight or a sluggish turn and we know more about him than any words could tell. That is not to say the dialogue is unnecessary--it is brilliant and profound, unnerving and unforgettable. At the end of this movie, you will sit there stunned. And you will remember it for a long time to come.

This morning I received an update message from Apple so I went ahead and installed it assuming I needed it. As I am surfing the web today I come across an article regarding Apple distributing its Web Browser Software, Safari, through its automatic updates. It peaks my interest so I read more. Safari sounds familiar. Oh yeah that is because that is what I installed earlier this morning.

I am a loyal Firefox user and the fact that Apple distributes it web browser software though its updates concerns me. Granted I should have paid more attention to what I was installing you can only imagine how people did the same thing I did. Read more on this story here.

Stealing $15 of Del Taco food for you and your buddies can land you a maximum of seven years in prison. That's what two accomplices are up against in a case where three men filmed themselves tricking Del Taco employees over the phone to give them a free meal and then posting it on YouTube. The video's "star," Robert Echeverria, who Rialto police said is a known gang member and was "crying like a baby" at the station before making a plea bargain to serve 30 days in jail with three years of probation.

"How To Scam Del Taco" was posted on YouTube on February 22nd and after a tip to police, the three were soon in custody. The two boys posted bail, but Echeverria remained as he could not produce enough money to follow suit.

For prosecutors, this is a slam dunk case and say they've never had anything so ready to go. Echeverria was scheduled to be in court yesterday. The three say they were just fooling around and never intended this to be blown out of "proportion." Stealing is stealing, isn't it? Video after the jump.

First buy lots of paper cups (it’s important to get paper, not plastic or foam, you’ll see why in a minute).

Arrange them over every possible inch of space on the victim’s desk.

Then staple them all together as close to the rim as you can, each cup to the ones on each side, so they are all attached. (This is why you need paper cups, foam or plastic split or disintegrate.) Wherever one cup touches another at the rim, staple.

Next, fill each cup as full as you can possible get it with water.

Then enjoy. I am not sure who would ever deserve this but it would make for a good laugh and possible mess. Just make sure your boss will not fire you when all the office equipment craps out do to it getting wet.

Ashley Alexander Dupré, the alleged call girl that caused former New York Governor Elliot Spitzer’s downfall, also appeared in a 2003 Girls Gone Wild (www.girlsgonewild.com) Spring Break production. In response to this discovery, Girls Gone Wild founder Joe Francis withdrew his earlier offer to pay Ms. Dupré one million dollars to appear on the 2008 Girls Gone Wild Spring Break Tour and shoot a pictorial in the brand new GGW magazine.

Girls Gone Wild will shortly release a full video of Ms. Dupre which includes same-sex encounters.

The appearance stems from Ms. Dupré’s 2003 trip to Miami to celebrate her eighteenth birthday. After fighting with a friend and getting thrown out of her hotel, Ms. Dupré sought out a nearby Girls Gone Wild bus, signed her paperwork and immediately began filming. Ms. Dupré spent a full week on the GGW bus and shot seven full length tapes that included nudity and same sex contact. Dupré later took a Greyhound Bus home.

“We were surprised to find Ms. Dupré in our archives,” commented Joe Francis, CEO and founder of Girls Gone Wild. “She’s like a cloud that keeps circling back over the landscape.” Girls Gone Wild Archivists were tipped off to Ms. Dupré’s 2003 appearance and immediately began searching their archives for legal papers and images. They were surprised to find so much content on Dupré.

Patrick Swayze's doctor is optimistic about his prognosis for battling pancreatic cancer, and the "Dirty Dancing" actor's upcoming cable pilot is still in contention to become a series.

With the writer's strike over, the A&E pilot "The Beast," starring Swayze as an unorthodox FBI agent, is being considered to be turned into a series by the cable network. If that happens, the "Dirty Dancing" and "Ghost" star hopes to continue to be part of the show, his representative Annett Wolf told The Associated Press on Wednesday.

Swayze has been undergoing treatment for the disease, Wolf confirmed in a statement. The National Cancer Institute estimates there will be 37,680 new cases of pancreatic cancer in 2008 with 34,290 deaths in the U.S.; only five percent of patients live more than five years after being diagnosed.

Danielle used her Savvy feature as an opportunity to address the controversy and explain her decision to do Playboy.

This beautiful young woman has overcome adversity before and always come out of it stronger. Suffering from Asthma didn’t stop her from competing nationally in acrobatics. Like so many other models, Danielle could have used her looks, but she studied advanced biology and chemistry. Even the brutal attack by a boyfriend did not stop her from becoming a shining star that inspires others.

Her dream is “to become a household name all over the world and eventually settle down and have children – little girls I can be friends with and cheeky little boys who will melt the hearts of many women.”

Millions of men would love to help her in both areas. For now, she’s dating Teddy Sheringham, a UK footballer who is still playing at 40. Unfortunately, some media reports have linked him as part of the controversy.

She took a break from dealing with the British media long enough to tell Savvy her remarkable story...

Savvy: What’s your reaction to being stripped of your title as Miss Great Britain?

Danielle: Of course, I’m upset about losing my title, but who wouldn’t be? Posing for Playboy was given as a reason.

Savvy: Then why’d you do it?

Danielle: It is every girl’s dream to be in Playboy, and my dream came true. Stars like Sharon Stone, Kim Basinger and Pamela Anderson have appeared in the magazine, so I’m happy to be in such good company! I’m proud of my photos, and if I decide never to pose nude again, at least I made Playboy!

Savvy: Here’s hoping it ISN’T the last time. (Laughs) But to be serious again, there are allegations you were dating Teddy Sheringham, one of the Miss Great Britain judges, before the pageant.

Danielle: I don’t think it’s fair that it’s been made out to look like I lost my title because I was seeing Teddy before the competition. That’s definitely not true. I didn’t even know him and had never met him before. The press are basically calling Teddy and I liars and cheats, and we certainly are not! Teddy is so well-respected and the people who know Ted and I, they know the truth. We were NOT an item before the competition and we certainly hadn’t met. That’s what counts. The main people in our lives know the truth.

Savvy: Does the press make up stuff or is that just an excuse that celebrities give when they are embarrassed?

Danielle: Most interviews are the backbone of any article, but you and I both know that when it goes to print, every article can change, some more than others.

Savvy: So no cheating whatsoever?

Danielle: Every competition I’ve ever won, I’ve given 200 percent. I’ve always gone out there with my head held high and believing I could win, but like every other beauty queen who’s ever won, you have rivals who will say it was fixed because they didn’t win. It’s horrible how some people can be. Those girls need to lose the bitterness because it eats away at you, and that comes across when you enter competitions. It takes the bigger person to congratulate someone, even if they are unhappy about losing.

Savvy: Have tabloids targeted you for stories in the past?

Danielle: Yes, mainly because of the domestic violence I’ve suffered.

Savvy: I wanted to talk about that. Your boyfriend at the time dragged you from a car after an argument with him while the car was still moving.

Danielle: Yes, after falling to the ground I was then dragged along the road feeling every piece of gravel embedding itself into my back, legs, arms, and head. Suddenly the car stopped as it hit the curb and rolled over my arm. I lost most of my hair in clumps and had severe cuts and bruising all over my body.

Savvy: And yet you still competed in a beauty pageant that night?

Danielle: My mum telephoned the organizers of the Miss Merseyside contest and explained to them what happened. They told her to bring me down and they would help me cover up my bruises and have the hairdresser fix my hair. It was the most painful experience I’ve ever been through, and I hated every minute of being on stage. I kept thinking people could see my bruises and start coming to their own conclusions.

Savvy: Why’d you go ahead and do that?

Danielle: The pageant organizers told my mum that if I did not continue, I would probably not enter another pageant and my confidence would go. I managed to get in the top 7, and now I only have the organizers and my mum to thank. If it was not for them supporting me, I would never have continued with my modeling or entering beauty competitions.

Savvy: Man, you are a badass.

Danielle: (Laughs) Since then I’ve pushed myself to enter as many competitions as possible with the help of my family, friends and groups like Women’s Aid.

Savvy: You now raise awareness about domestic violence. A lot of women stay with guys who treat them like crap. What do you say to those women?

Danielle: All I can say is if you’re in a violent/possessive relationship, talk to someone quickly because you start to believe your man when he says things like, “Nobody else would look twice at you, you’re fat, stupid, ugly...” Anything to hurt you. But all they are doing is making you think you need them and you won’t get anyone else to love you or want you. They even stop you from seeing or talking to your friends and family, so in the end you lose touch with anyone you cared about.

Savvy: So it isn’t just about getting beat up?

Danielle: Well, then the beatings come, you start to believe you deserve it because you’ve done something wrong. I spent most of my time in a track suit with my hair tied back and no makeup on. I tried to look at ugly as possible so nobody else would look at me. That way I knew I would not get a punch or a kick.

Savvy: Guys like that need their asses kicked.

Danielle: It’s only when something really bad happens to you that you know you have to get away because if you don’t, you’ll get killed like I almost did. But you can’t afford to let that bad thing happen because you may not be as lucky as me!

Savvy: What other causes do you promote?

Danielle: I help promote the Linda McCartney Centre in Liverpool. Dr. Chandrashekar, the top consultant there, gave me so much support when I found a lump in my breast last year. Thankfully, it wasn’t cancer, but that’s everyone’s nightmare, male or female, when you wake up and find a lump in your breast. Dr. Chandrashekar is so dedicated to his patients. My mum and I are aiming to raise £50k by the end of February 2007 to buy much needed equipment. Barclays Bank will match £4k from fundraising for charities.

Savvy: Do you get marriage requests from men all over the world?

Danielle: (Laughs) Yes, I get LOTS of emails from all over the world. I’ve had some lovely, funny emails. My friend Pier from Sweden told me that after seeing my photos he had evidence Martians had landed because I was “too beautiful to have come from our planet”.

Savvy: Smooth dude. I’ll have to remember that line. Ever dated any Americans?

Danielle: No, but I’ve met a lot and still keep in touch by email with friends from New York City. The guys at Joe O’s bar made us feel very welcome. I love Americans. Everyone we met was very friendly and helpful. You always have huge portions of food. I can’t even finish, but I have a good go. I love food, especially steak and chips with champagne. I felt very welcome when I came to do my Playboy shoot in Palm Springs.

Savvy: Is it less taboo in the UK to pose nude?

Danielle: Many girls in the UK who want to start their modeling careers usually appear on Page 3 of the newspaper topless. That’s something I never wanted to do. When I am an old lady, I can look back at the Playboy photos and say, “Hey, I didn’t look too bad at 22!”

Savvy: Tell me about Andy Lesauvage, your photographer.

Danielle: Andy’s gorgeous, and he always makes you feel so comfortable. He sounds like Tommy Cooper, a famous English comedian. I always know I’m going to like the photos when Andy shoots! He’s good fun... for a Londoner!

Savvy: And what about Alan Robertson of babes.net? He hooked us up with these photos.

Danielle: I love Alan. He’s a really genuine person and has a very funny side to him. He’s probably the world’s most envied man, along with Andy, having the pleasure of working with beautiful girls from all over the world.

Savvy: What advice would you give young models starting out?

Danielle: Only work with people you can trust at all times. Your career depends on it. Get a good manager like mine at AdF Management. If you are suspicious and then find out you’re wrong, it’s a bonus.

Savvy: To a lot of guys, you represent the perfect fantasy girl. What advice would you give men to win the heart of a lass such as yourself?

Danielle: Girls always like being told we’re lovely. We love surprises and receiving little gifts now and then. Anyone who is in a relationship for a while should be able to trust one another, be able to tell each other everything – good and bad – and that they love each other. If you can do that, your love life deepens with trust.

Savvy: What does a hottie like you need to do before settling down and making babies?

Danielle: A girl should live the dream, do everything she can before getting married or getting into a serious relationship because you should be 100 percent faithful to your partner, as that means everything.
